Please to take notice that We do and each of us doth
Intent to Appeal at the next General Quarter Session of the Peace
to be held by Adjournment at Hickes Hall in Saint John Street
in and for the County of Middlesex on [..] Tuesday the fourteenth day of
this Instant July at ten of the Clock in the forenoon of the sameday
agt. the Judgment and Sentence given by Thomas Burdus< no role > Esqr. and
Peter Elers< no role > Esqr. two of his Majestys Justice of the Peace for the said
County of Middlesex agt. us and each of us at the House of Mr.
John Tilks< no role > at Covent Garden in the said County for the forfeiture
of Eighty one Pounds and ten Shillings said in a Certain
Summons Issued by the said two Justices upon a Certain Information
and Complaint to be Incurred by us and each of us for and by
reason of our hideing and Concealing from the sight and View
of the Officer or Officers a Quantity of Wetted Barley in Order to
the making into Mall discovered the Seventh day of December
last agt. the form of the Statute in Such case made and Provided
A True Copy of which said Appeal is hereunto Annexed Witness
each of our hands this Saith day of July 1747.

of his Majestys Revenne of Excise , The
Informant in this Cause.
