John Spruce subscribed to the Information to be his own Handwriting and desired Favour in regard he had
been drawn in by Mrs. Nicholls who had an influence over him of such a Nature that it was not safe for
him to refuse her any thing, but his confession was not reduced into writing because he refused to sign
We anyconfessionhave [..] positive Evidence agt. Mrs Nicholls except Warwick who has been pilloryed for perjury) but we Presume Mr. Morris the Justice and Mr. Horton his Clerk will be able to prove that Mrs. Nicholls
was the person thatwascame with Bygrave when he made the Information against Frankland and
passed for his sister and we can shew that [..] shehasfled from Justices upon a Warrants being granted agt. herwe hope she
may be convicted of this Offence Conspriacy

We have no possitive Evidence agt. Mrs. Nicholls but Warwick (as to the Contrivance and her prevailing on
By grave to make the Information) who as before has been convicted of Perjury & stood on the Pillory
for it But it Keate (one of ye under Turnkeys) that upon his sessions to Mrs. Nicholls

Mrs. Nicolls [..] We can purely that Frankland would Ruin her)she saidshe said dont fear, for she wouldI will make him
Sup sorrow by spoonfulls andthatFrankland shallshouldbe for enough removed butshe CouldI can do
nothing like the assizes

It can be proved that she had been Tampering with several persons to swear a Rebery agt.
Frankland in order to remove him particularly Hogg, John Freeman< no role > , John
Ditcher
< no role > & Jane Ditcher< no role > his repicted Wife

All which Circumstanees putt together will (we hope) be sufficient
to an out her of ye Conspiracy charged in ye Indrtemens annext
