the same Place Yeoman Severally make Oath as follows And first the said
Robert Lynn< no role > Maketh Oath at the said Deponent Did on Monday the Ninth
Day of this Instant January Serve Thomas Oake (which said Thomas Oake [..]
this Deponent is informed and verily beleives is the Prosecutor this Cause)
with a Notice in Writing in this Cause by delivering the same to the said Thomas
Oakes
< no role > Mother at her House in Knaves Acre (at whose House this Deponent has
been Informed the said Thomas Oake lives) which this Deponent desired her to
deliver to her said son which she promised this Deponent to do as even as he
came in, which said Notice was to the Parpert and Effed following , that is to say

Notice that I William Fellows< no role > one of the above named Defendants will appear at
the next General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden at Hicks's Hall in
Saint John Street in and for the County of Middlesex on Thursday the
twelfth day of this instant January at ten of Clock in the Forenoon of
the same day And will then and there Try the Traverse on the Indictment
You have preferred against me for a Riot and Assault Dated this Ninth
day of January 1737. from your Servt. William Fellows< no role > Mr. Thomas Oake And the said John
Scott
< no role > also maketh Oath that he this Deponent Did on the said Ninth day of this
Instant January Serve another Copy of the said Notice on Mr Jacobs at his
[..] Lodging in Poultney Street (which said Mr. Jacobs is concerned for the said
Thomas Oake as his Attorney this Prosecution as this Deponant had
been informed and verily belives.
