At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in
St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on
Monday the Sixteenth day of January in the eleventh year of
the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain Etc before Edward Barker< no role > John Martin< no role > Alexander
Garrett< no role > Nathaniel Chandler< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices
of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County
aforesaid and also to hear & determine divers felonys trespasses &
other misdeeds committed, in the same County,

Upon hearing of the appeal of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Battersea in the County of Surry against
an Order under the hands & seals of Theodore Smith< no role > & Thomas
Cotton< no role > This name instance is in set 3506. Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the
County of Middx (One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the twelfth day December last whereby Mary Blake< no role > wife of
Henry Blake< no role > was removed from the Parish of St. Ann within the Liberty
of Westminster in the said County of Middx to the said Parish of
Battersea in the County of Surry as the place of her last legal
settlement, And upon hearing of what was alledged by Councel for
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
St. Ann and also by Councel for the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Battersea This Court doth disallow of the said
appeal, And doth ratify & confirm the aforesaid order of the said
two Justices of the peace, and the same is hereby ratifyed and
confirmed accordingly,
