Parish of Stoke-Poges
in the County of Bucks
and to the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Fulham
in the County of Middlesex .

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Fulham
in the County of Middlesex unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Quorum unus) for the County aforesaid, That Mercy
Perryman
< no role > and her two Children John
Perryman
< no role > aged Seven Years, and Thomas
Perryman
< no role > aged three years have
lately intruded themselves into your said Parish of
Fulham
there to inhabit as your Parishioner s contrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, and are there like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon
Oath
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Mercy Perryman and her two
Children, John and Thomas, are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish of Fulham
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Mercy Perryman, and
her two Children is in the said Parish of
Stoke Poges , in the said County of Bucks
These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Fulham aforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Mercy
Perryman and her two Children, John
and Thomas from your said Parish of Fulham
to the said Parish of Stoke Poges
in the said County of Bucks and them to deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said Mercy Perryman, and her
two Children
into the said Parish and provide for them
as their own Parishioner. s Given under our Hands and Seals, the
thirteenth. Day of December [..]
