The Humble Petition and Appeale of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of Saint John at
Hackney in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by a Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals
of John Milner< no role > and John Mercer< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
thirty first day of October last pastwhereby Elizabeth
Wheatley< no role > widow of Joseph Wheatley< no role > was removed
from the Parish of Saint Giles in the [..] Fields in the
said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint John at
Hackney in the same County as the Place of her last
legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
Agrieved by the said Warrant or Order
of the said two Justices of the Peace
do humbly Appeale to this Court
against the same Praying such
relief in the Premisses as to this
Court shall seem meet

And your Petitioners will Ever
