debate of the matter and hearing of what was alledged by the County
on both sides This Court is of opinion thatthe Jonathan ward< no role >
by reason of the said two Cottages in withersfield aforesaid having
descended to his the said Jonathan Ward< no role > as heir at Law to his said Uncle, and by his
having been admitted Tenant thereto, and by the residence of
himself & his Family therein for the time above mentioned about
the space of Nine Months the sa him the said, Jonathan in and

by reason of the descent of the said two Cottages in Withersfield
aforesaid to the said Jonathan Ward< no role > as heire of his said Uncle,
and by his haveing been admitted Tenant thereto, and by the
residence of him the said Jonathan and his said wife & childrenFamilyin one of the
said Cottages as aforesaid he the said Jonathan Ward< no role > and his
said wife and children obtained a legal settlement in Withersfield
aforesaid, And it not appearing to this Courttheythat they have
since the time of their [..] obtaining such settlement there gaines
any other legal settlement elsewhere, This Court doth adjudge
their last legal settlement to be in Withersfield aforesaid and thatthey shouldthe sd. Order of removal ought not to have been made for
sending them to the said parish of Castle Hedingham And
doth thereupon allow of the said appeal, And doth vacate and
discharge the aforesaid Order of removalthe said two Justices of the peace
and the same is hereby vacated & discharged accordingly,
