At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord
the King holden for the County of Middx at Hickshall in St. Jo [..]
street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Friday the
fourteenth day of October in the eleventh year of the reign
of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain Etc before John Martin< no role > Anthony Chamberlain< no role >
William Booth< no role > John Poulson< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear & determine divers felonys
thtrespasses & other misdeeds committed in the same County,

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish
of Castle Hedingham in the County of Essex exhibited their
humble Petition & appeal unto this Court at this present General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County of Middx by
adjornment on Monday the tenth day of October instant
settingforth That by an Order under the hands & seals of John
Milner
< no role > & William Hucks< no role > Esquires two of his Maties Justices of
the peace for the County of Middx Jonathan Ward< no role > & Elizabeth < no role >
his Wife and their three children (to wit) Ann < no role > aged about six
years Elizabeth < no role > aged about four years and Robert < no role > aged about
six weeks were removed from the parish of St. Giles in the
County offields in the County of Middx to the parish of Castle
Hedingham in the County of Essex , And that the Petrs. appehending
themselves aggrieved by the said Order humbly appealed to this
Court, the matter of which appeal was appointed to be heard &
determined by this Court on this present Friday the fourteenth day
of the same Month of October instant, being an adjornment day of the
General Quarter Sessions of the peace above mentioned, now upon
hearing of what was alledged by Councel for the said Appellants
This Court by consent of Mr. Daniel Bolton< no role > of Agent for the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St.
Giles in the fields doth order that the hearing & determining
the matter of the said appeal be and the same is hereby
adjourned untill the next General Sessions of the peace to be
holden for the said County of Middx, And this Court doth
further order that the Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor
of both the said parishes and all persons concerned do attend
the Court of the said next General Sessions of the peace to be
