To the Right Worshipfull His Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session
of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. James
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and
seals of I. Poulson and W: Hayton Esqrs. two of his Majesties Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex bearing date the 30th. day of June 1737
Ann Clapham< no role > aged about Eleven years Margaret < no role > aged about Seven years and
Mary < no role > aged about four years the Children of Robert Clapham< no role > were removed
from the Liberty of Session Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents in the
Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn in the said County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of St. James as the Place of their last legal Settlement Whereby
You Petitioners think themselves Aggrieved

And Therefore humbly Prays this Court
will be Pleased to Appoint a time for
hearing the said Appeal and that all
persons Concerned may Attend at the
same time

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
