To the Worshipfull his Maties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middx in their General Quarter Sessions
Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Alhollows in
Lombard Street London .

Sheweth


That by Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of
Thomas Jones< no role > and John Preistly< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties Justices
of the Peace for the said County of Middx (one being of the Quorum)
bearing date the twenty Sixth day of March last Susannah
Ashing
< no role > wife of John Ashing< no role > Mariner and her child named
Mary Ashing< no role > aged one year & eleven Months were removed
from the Parish of St. George in the Said County of Middx to the
Said Parish of Alhollows in Lombard Street London as the Place of
the last Legall Settlement of the Said Susannah Ashing< no role > and her
Said Child.

That Your Petitioners find themselves aggreived by the
Said Warrant or Order of the Said two Justices of the Peace , and
humbly appeal to this Court against the Same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court to
Appoint a day this Present Sessions for all Parties
concerned to attend this Court to hear and abide
the Judgment and determination of this Court
touching the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners Shall pray Etc
