The King agt. John Stackey< no role > upon the
prosecution of John Moore< no role > for an Assault

Dennis Starkey< no role > of the parish of St. George the Martys
in the County of Middlesex Peruke maker maketh oath that
he this Deponent did on or about the Second day of
February last become bound for the person all
appearance of the Deft. John Starkey< no role > at the then next General
Session of the peace to be holden for the sd. County of
Middx to answer the complaintforof ye sd. John Moore< no role >
for an assault, and that the sd. John Starkey< no role > was
then a Servt. to this Dept. butthat the sd. John
[..] but hath Since left his Service & now absconds
andthanthat he this Dept. hath been informed &
doth beleive that at the sd. Session of the Peace
held in February last ye sd. John Moore< no role > preferred
a Bill of Indictmt. agt. the sd. John Starkey< no role > which
was found by the Grand Jury at that Session and
also that he this Dept. hath taken out Several
Bench Warrts. & used his almost endeavours to
apprehend ye sd. John Starkey< no role > to answer ye sd. Indictment
but hath not yet been able to take him, and this
Dept. for the Saith upon his oath that he did
yesterday apply to ye sd. John Moore< no role > in order to
make him Satisfaction for ye sd. Assault and to
procure a Release from him and that he she sd. John
Moore
< no role > that offered to accept of ten Shillings & Six
pence in full Satisfaction for the sd. Assault but also
insisted that the sd. Dennis Starkey< no role > should procure
a Release from ye sd. John Starkey< no role > which this Dept. cannot
procure because he cannot now find out ye sd. John Starkey< no role >
