Peter Liege< no role > of Holles Street in the parish
of St. Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex
Apothecary & Daniel Walter< no role > of the same
parish & County Vintners Severally make Oath
& first the said Daniel Walter< no role > for himself
saith that he this Depont. was bound to appear
in May Sessions last to give Evidence against
Thomas Newgent< no role > for Stealing two Brass Locks
the Property of James Langley< no role > this Depont.
then being & now is Constable of the said
parish at Which time the said James Langley< no role >
preferred a Bilo of Indictment against the said
Thomas Newgent which was not found And
this Deponent further saith that the only
reason why this Depont. cou'd not appear to
give Evidence on the said Indictment was that
in May Sessions aforesaid & all that Week & for same time after he was
Sick of afeaver & not able to be brought or come to
Hicks hall to give Evidence as aforesaid And the
said Peter Liege for himself saith that he this
Depont. washisapothecary & attended the said
Daniel Walter< no role > in his illness from the Fourth day of May untill
tho Nineteenth day of the same Month during
which time he cou'd not without danger of
his Life being then afflicted with appeaver as
aforesaid be brought to give Evidence as aforesaid

day of October 1736.
