St
Anthony Wroth< no role >
[..] One of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace
for the County of Middlesex
in pursuance of the Power given by Statute made
in the Second Year of the Reign of our late Sovereign Lord and Lady William and Mary
Doe hereby Certifie upon my own view, that a certain Street ca
[..] Pear-tree Street lyeing
and being in the Parish of St. Luke
in the County of Middlesex
is in a most ruinous condition scarcely
passable for People on foot, and very difficult and dangerous, for horses or carts to go in the said
Street:
And that the said Street calld Pear-tree-street, was never Paved, at least there are little or no
remains thereof for the length of forty yards or thereabout at the West End of the said Street
leadeing to Goswel-Street
and of the Breadth of four yards which said forty yards in length and
four Yards in breadth, I Judge fit to be paved
Upon enquiry I find that Richard Randal< no role >
is the Ground Landlord that John Cope< no role >
and
John Gale< no role >
, are Occupiers, by Lease of the Ground and Houses adjoining to the said Street which
is in so very bad and [..] nous a condition as aforesaid.
Given and certifyed under my hand the fourth day of May 1736
