There has been before you this day a poor old Man
by name Henry Newton< no role > comitted to Bridewell by [..]
Mitchel for non payment of a weekly allowance to the p [..]
for the Maintanance of his Wife the Court has order'd
his discharge but I am inform'd by a friend of Newton's
that he was carry'd buck and [..] there detain'd for his [..]
It will be a great act of charity to to procure his [..]
he being alterly incapable of paying and likewise [..]
considering the great hardship of the [..]
so sent from his work and details in prison I you [..]
do anything to serve this poor indigent person in
this particulary I shall esteem is a very great
favour done to
