WHEREAS it appeareth unto Us, Two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for theSaid County
ofMiddlesex
where of one is authorized and appointed by the Statute To be a (Quorum) By the
complaint of the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of theSaid Liberty of Saffron
Hill Hatton Garden & Ely Rentsin the saidparish of St. Andrew
ThatMary Powell< no role > Widow is


Lately come, and intruded into the saidLiberty
Endeavouring to Gain a Settlement there Contrary to Law
andis [..] become a [..] Charge to the saidLiberty
which we adjudge to be true, And Whereas,upon due Enquiry by us
Made into the Premisses on the Oath of Said Mary and.
other Circumstances

It appears unto us, that the saidMary
waslast legally Settled in the saidParish
ofSt. Mary Woolnoth in Londonand thatShe hath
notSince gain'd any legal Settlement
elsewhere: Therefore, We the said Justices, upon the Proof aforesaid, and other
Circumstances, do Adjudge and Deem the Place of the last legal Settlement of the
saidMary Powell< no role > to be in the
saidParishofSt. Mary Woolnoth
And whither by LawSheought to be Sent.

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name, strictly to Charge and
Command you the said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents
or either of you, forth with to remove and convey the saidMary Powell< no role >

from and out of your saidLibertyin and to the
saidParishofSt. Mary Woolnoth and
deliverher(Together with this Percept) To the Church wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or some, or one of them, who are hereby required to receive
and provide forheraccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, thetwenty SeventhDay ofJanuary in the
NinthYear of the Reign of our SovereignLord George
the Secondby the Grace of God of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland,
KingDefender of the Faith, and so forth, And in the Year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven Hundred andthirty five
