To the Right Worshipfull his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middx in their
Generall Quarter Session Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church wardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Gregory by St. Paul's
in the City of London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the hands and Seals of Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex (one where of being of the Quorum)
bearing date the fourteenth day of April last past, Mary
Strong
< no role > the Wife of Thomas Strong< no role > and Sarah Strong< no role > their
Daughter aged about seven years were removed from the Parish of Saint Luke in
the Said County of Middlesex unto the Said Parish of Saint
Gregory by Saint Paul's London Alledging the said Parish of
Saint Gregory by Saint Paul's to be the Place of their last
Legall Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceiving
themselves aggreived by the said Warrant or
Order of the said Two Justices Doe there fore
Appeale to your Worships there from, and humbly
pray that you will be pleased to hear them in the
Premisses, and Order that the Church wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Luke in the said County may Appear before you
at a certain day to be Appointed to hear and
abide the Judgment and Determination of
Your Worships touching this Appeal.

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
