Parish ofSt James within the Liberty of Westminster
in the CountyofMiddlesex
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofSt George in Bloomsbury
in thesaid County of Middx .
& to Each and Every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSt. James
Westminster unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCountyaforesaid,
ThatRichard Williams< no role > and Susan< no role > his Wife are
lately intruded& Comeinto your said Parish ofSt
James Wesminster
there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and Enquiry made into the Premises,as also on Oath and
Other Circumstance
It appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Richard Williams< no role > & Wife are
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt James
Westminster and that last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidRichard Williams< no role > & Wife
is in the said Parish of
St George in Bloomsbury in the County of Middlesex .

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. James Westminster aforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidRichard
Williams
< no role > and Wife
from your said Parish ofSt James Westmr .
to the said Parish ofSt George in
Bloomsbury andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidRichard Williams< no role > and Wife
into their saidParish & Coreand provide forthem
as their own Parishioners Given under our Hands and Seals, the
27thDay of May in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven -Hundred andthirty Four.
