At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middx
at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the County
aforesaid by adjornment on Tuesday the twenty
third day of April in the Seventh Yeare of the reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of
Great Britain France & Ireland Defender of the
Faith before Thomas Lane< no role > John Martin< no role > Alexander
Garrett
< no role > Anderew Osborne< no role > Esqrs . & other their Fellows
Justices of out said Lord the King assigned to keep
the peace in the County aforesaid and also to heare
& determine divers felonys trespasses & other
misdeeds [..] mmitted in the same County

Whereas the Church wardens & Overseers of the
poor of the parish of St. James Clerkenwell in this
County have exhibited their humble petition &
appeale unto this Court settingforth That by
an Order Under the hands & seales of Robert
Dennett
< no role > & Richard Ricards< no role > Esqrs. two of his Maties
Justices of the peace for the said County (one of
them being of the Quorum) bearing date the
eighteenth day of this instant April Ann Garrett< no role >
was removed from the Precinct of St. Katherine in
this County to the said parish of St. James [..]
Clerkenwell as the place of her last legal settlemt.

And that the Petrs. think themselves aggreived by
the Judgment and the said Order of the Said two
Justices of the peace , and appeale to this Court
against the same Whereupon at the request of
the Petrs. It is Ordered by this Court that the benefit
of the said appeale be saved unto them, and that
the hearing & determining thereof be and the same
is hereby adjourned untill the next General.
