This Indenture made theSeventhday ofJuneAnno Dom. 1732 and in the
FifthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George, by the Grace of God of Great
Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of Faith, Etc. Witnesseth, ThatRichard Webster< no role > and Thomas Williams< no role >
ChurchWarden sof theParish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County ofMidlx
andSampson Mayris< no role > and John Pirkins< no role > Overseers of the Poor of the saidParishby and with the
Consent of two of His Majesties Justices of the Peace of the said County (Quorum)unuswhose Names and hereunto Subscribed have put and placed,
and by these Presents do put and placeWilliam Martin< no role > aged about Twelveyearsa poor Child of the
saidParishApprentice toHenry price< no role > of the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County of Midlx
Taylor withhimto Dwell, and serve from the Day of the Date of these Presents, until the said Apprentice shall Accomplishher
full Age ofTwenty Four yearsaccording to the Statute in that Case made and provided. During all which
Term the said ApprenticehissaidMasterfaithfully shall serve, in all lawful Businesses, according tohisPower, Wit and Ability: and
honestly, orderly, and obediently in all things demean and behavehimself towardshissaidMasterand all during the said Term.
And the saidHenry Price< no role > doth Covenant and Grant forhimselfhisExecutors and Administrators, to and with the said Church Warden
and Overseers of the Poor, and every of them, their, and every of their Executors and Administrators, their and every of their Successors,
for the time being by these Presents, Thathethe saidHenry Price< no role > the said Apprentice in the Art ofa Taylor
heShall teach and instruct, or cause to be taught and instructed, and shall and will during all the Term aforesaid, find, provide and
allow unto the said Apprentice meet, competent and Sufficient Meat, Drink, Apparel, Lodging, Washing, and all other things necessary and fit
for an Apprentice. And also shall and will so provide for the said Apprentice, thathebe not any way a Charge to the saidParish
or to theInhabitantsof the same, but of and from all Charge shall and will save the saidParishandParishoners
harmless and indempnified, during the said Term, and at the end thereof shall and will make, provide, allow and deliver, unto the said Apprentice
Double Apparel of all Sorts, Good and New (that is to say) a good New Suit for the Holy Days, and another for the Working Days. In Witness
whereof the Parties abovesaid to these Present Indentures, interchangeably have put their Hands and Seals, the Day and Year above written.
