WHEREAS it appeareth unto us, two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace
for the said County of Middlesex
(Quor' Unus) by the
Complaint of the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the
ParishofSt: Giles without Cripplegatein the said County, that

the Wife
of Thomas Taff< no role >
with her Son Thomas< no role >
Aged Six weeks are
lately come, and intruded into the saidParish-ofSt: Giles without
Cripplegate-Endeavouring to gain a Settlement there contrary to Law,
andare likely tobecome a great Charge to the saidParish
which are adjudge to be true; and whereas, by examination
taken upon Oath
it appears unto us, That the saidElizabeth Taff< no role >
was-
last legally Settled in the saidParish-

St: Gregory
in London
and thatShe
hath neversince gained any legal Settlement
elsewhere: Therefore, We the said Justices, upon the Proof aforesaid, and other
Circumstances, do Adjudge and Deem the Place of the last legal Settlement of
the saidElizabeth Taff< no role >
with her sd: Son Thomas-
to be in the saidParishofSt: Gregory in London
and whither by Lawtheyought to be sent.
THESE ar therefore, in his Majesty's Name, strictly to Charge and
Command you said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor
of the saidParish of St: Giles without of Cripplegateor either of you,
forthwith to remove and convey the saidElizabeth Taff< no role >
with
Thomas her sd: Son
from and out of your saidParishofSt: Giles without Cripplegatein and
to the saidParishofSt: Gregory in the City of London
and deliverthem(together with this Precept) to the Churchwarden and
Overseers of the Poor there, or some, or one of them, who are hereby re-
-quired to receive and provide forthemaccording to Law
