Parish of St.Ann Westminster
in theCountyofMiddlesex
and to the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Martin in the
feilds in thesaid County of Middx &
to each and every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSaint Ann
>Westminster unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Quorum unus) for theCounty & Libtyaforesaid, ThatOne
Sarah Powell< no role > Singlewoman aged about thirty three
years is

lately intrudedand comeinto your said Parish of
Saint Ann Westminster
there to inhabit asaParishioner contrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And whereas, upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,and also on
the Oath of the said Sarah Powell< no role >

it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge. That the said
Sarah Powell< no role > is

likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSaint Ann
westminster and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidSarah Powell< no role >
is in the said Parish of
St. Martin in the feilds

These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Ann Westminster aforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidSarah
Powell

from your said Parish ofSaint Ann
Westminster to the said Parish ofSaint Martin
in the feilds andherdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidSarah powell< no role >


into their saidparish & careand provide forher
as their own ParishonerOwen under out Hands and Seales the
Twenty SixthDay ofJuneAnno RegniDom ure
Georgy secundi Regis.nunc Magnae Britanniae, Etc.Quinto
