The humble peticon and Appeale of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the parish of St. James
Clerkenwell in the County of Middx.

Sheweth

That by an Order under the hands and Seales of Alexr.
Pitfeild< no role > and Ralph Harwood< no role > Esqr . two of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the County of Middx . (Quorum
Unus) bearing date the Twenty first day of December
last past Mary Shittle< no role > Wife of John Shittle< no role > and one
Child (Vizt.) Sarah< no role > aged about Six years the lawfull Issue
of the said John Shittle< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife were removed
from the parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch in the County
of Middx to the said parish of St. James Clerkenwell as
the place of their last legall Settlemt

Your petrs. therefore humbly think
themselves aggreived and appeal agt. the
said Order of the said two Justices and
pray your Worships will order a day
of hearing and determineing thereof
