The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St. Clements
East Cheap London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrt under the hands & Seals of the Right Honble the Lord H Coleran [..]
and Hugh Smithson< no role > Esqr two of his Maties Justices of the peace
for the County of Middx (Quor unus) bearing Dates Second day
of April Anno Dui 1723 James Million< no role > was Removed and
passed from the parish of Tottenham in ye Sd County unto the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Clement
East Cheap London Alledging the Said Parish to be the place of ye
last Legal Settlement

That Your Pettionrs conceive themselves aggrieved
by the sd Warrt and Judgmt of ye sd two Justices and do
therefore most humbly Appeal to your Worships
there from

Yr. Petitioners therefore most humbly prays
Your Worps. will be pleased to hear them in
them premisses and Order that the Church
Wardens Overseers of the poor of ye sd parish
of Tottenham may Appear before Your
Worps. on Such day as the Court shall appoint and hear & abide the determinacon
of this Court touching the sd Appeal
