Whereas Elizabeth Russell< no role > Singlewoman was on the twenty
Seventh day of September last , deliver'd of a female Bastard Child
in the Liberty of Norton falgate in the County of Middlesex ; which
Said female Bastard Child has Since been Baptized by the
Name of Elizabeth< no role > , and is now living and Chargable to the Said
Liberty. We whose hands and Seals are hereunto sett, two
of his Majties: Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex,
(Quor unus) and both dwelling next the Limitts of the said
Liberty of Norton falgate in the said County (the said Liberty
having no Church thereunto belonging) having upon Com
-plains of the Overseers of the Poor of the said Liberty, taken
upon us the hearing and Examinacon of the said Cause, Do
[..] find by the Examinacon of the said Elizabeth Russell< no role >
taken before us upon Oath and other proofs & Circumstances
that Samuel Hull< no role > living as the Blew Anchor in Wheeler
Street in the Hamlett of Spittle Fields in the Parish of st
Dunstan Stepney als Stebunheath in the said County
Cordwainer , is the Reputed father of the said female Bastard
Child Whereupon We do Adjudge that he the said Samuel
Hull
< no role > is the Reputed father of the said female Bastard Child.
And We do Order that he the said Samuel Hull< no role > Shall on [..]
of this our Order pay or Cause to be paid into the hands of
the Overseers of the Poor of the sd: Liberty or either of them
the Sum of One pound Nineteen Shillings and Six pence
of lawfull mony of Great Brittain, so much being by
them already expended and disbursted for and towards the
Charge arising by the Said female Bastard Childs being
born in the said Liberty and for other Necessary Expences
occasioned thereby: And that he the said Samuel Hull< no role > shall
also Weekly and every Week from and after the Date hereof
(so long as the Said female Bastard Child Shall be Chargable
to the said Liberty) pay or cause to be paid unto the Overseers
of the Poor of the said Liberty, or either of them, the Seem of
two Shillings and Six pence of like lawfull mony for and
towards the maintainance keeping and Education of the sd.
