Robert Wood< no role > of the parish of North Mims in the County of Hertford
Yeomn maket Oath that upon the 17th day of July last past he
this Dept had Notice of A Wilch Ass lately Stollen from
him was found at Richmond in the County of Surrey
and that two persons were taken upp at Hounslow in
this County for Stealeing the same upon white this
Dept. went downe to Richmond aforesaid & there owned
the Said Ass to be his And then went to Hounslow
where the Said persons were in Custody for Stealeing
the Said Asse but one of them haveing made his Escape
from the Constable the other one onley was had before
Justices Bulstrode Senr & by him comitted to Newgate
for the Said felony upon which the Constable demanded
of this Dept. Seven shillings for Keeping the
Saidall nightprisoner all night, which the Said
Justice Bulstrode Ordered this Dept. to pay him
and alsoe could this Dept. that there was A further
charge upon him for the Said Constable to carry
the Said prisoner to Newgate & could this Dept. that
hr mast pay that charge likewise for which the
Constable demanded of this Dept. Seven shillings
more, which this Dept paid accordingly by Order &
comand of this Said Justice Bulstrode.
