peace for the County of Middx assembled in
Quarter Sessions

The humble Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the pish of St. Clemt. Danes in
the sd. County

Sheweth


That by an Ordr. undr. the hands & Seales of S. Parry & John Ellis< no role > Esqrs
Two of his Matyes Justices of the peace for the sd. County (Quor Unus) bearing
Date the 28th. day of February last Anne Knipe< no role > is removed from the pish of St. Giles in the Feilds in the
sd. County to the sd. pish of St. Clemt. Danes and the place of her last
legall Settlemt.

That yor Petr. doubt not but to make it appeare that the sd. Anne
Knipe
< no role > hath not any legall Settlemt. in the sd. pish of St. Clemt Danes
& therefore think themselves aggreived by the Ordr. of the sd. two
Justices & humbly appeale therefrom to the Judgemt. of this Cort
That in regard the sd. Anne Knipe< no role > is an Infant of very tender yeares
& not repale of knowing her Settlemt. & yor Petrs. have not been able
to find out either the Far. or Mother of the Sd. Anne Knipe< no role >

Yor. Petrs. therefore most humbly pray
yor Worspps. that the benefitt of their sd
Appeale may be Served & that the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd. pish
of St. Giles in the Feilds may be Ordr. Wattend
yor worspps Some day the next Sessions to
heare & abide yor Worspps determinacon
touching this Appeale
