Upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. Clement Danes in this County [..] exhited
unto this Court Settingforth that by an Order under
the hands & seals of simon parry< no role > & John Ellis< no role > Esqrs. two
of this maties. Justices of the peace for the said County
(Quorum vuus) beareing date the twenty eighth day
of February last Ann Knipe< no role > was removed from the
parish of St. Giles in the Feilds in this County to the Sd.
parish of St. Clement Danes as the place of her last
legall Settlemt. And that the petrs. think themselves
aggreived by the said Order and appeale as This Court
is satiffyed that the petrs. could not be prepared to prosecute
their said appeale at this present Sessions It is at their
request Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the
said appeale be saved unto them, and that the hearing
determining ofthereof be adjourned untill the next
Generall Sessions of the peace to be held for this County, And that
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St. Giles in the fields upon notice of this
Order & all persons concerned doe attend his Maties
Justices of the peace to be at the next Generall Sessions of
the peace to be holden for this County on Tuesday
the eighth day of May next at eleven of the Clock in
the forenoon to heare & abide their Judgmt. and
determinacon touching the said appeale.
