child for see long time as the said Male bastard child
Should remaine chargeable to the sd parish, And that
he Should of & from the charge of the sd. bastard child
at all times thereafter Save hornless and indemnifie
the Said parish of St. Giles in the fields, And upon
heareing of what was insisted on by Councell for the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the Said
parish & alsoe by Councell for the sd. John Stephens< no role >
and upon examinacon of the Said Mary Airy< no role > and
Severall other persons upontheirOath touching the
premisses This Court is of opinion and doth declare
that the Said John Stephens< no role > is the putative Father of
the Said Male bastard child And doth thereupon
dismiss the Said appeale and doth ratify & confirm
the aforesaid Order of the Said two Justices of the peace
and doth require the Said John Stephens< no role > to yeild
due obedience there unto.
