Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of His
Maties Justices of ye peace for ye County of Middx (Quor
unus) by ye Churchwardens & Overseers of ye poor of ye
parish of St. Giles in ye fields in ye said County That
Thomas Hall< no role > aged about seven years John Hall< no role > aged
about four Years & William Hall< no role > aged about twelve
Months Children of Thomas Hall< no role > & Ann his< no role > wife
were lately left in ye sd: Parish Contrary to Law
And it appreareth unto us ye: sd Justices that they are
likely to become chargeable to ye sd: parish And
whereas upon Exaicaon taken upon Oath it
Farther appeareth unto us & wee do adjudge that
ye parish of St. Ann in ye Libty of Westmr: in ye
sd: County is ye place of ye last legall Settlemt: of
the said Thomas Hall< no role > Father of ye sd: Children and
do therefore in His Maties name charge & comand
ye Churchwardens & Overseers of ye poor of ye sd Parish
of St. Giles in ye fields forthwth: to remove & Convey
ye said Thomas,< no role > John,< no role > & William < no role > ye sd: three Children
of ye sd Thomas Hall< no role > & Ann < no role > his wife from ye said
parish of St. Giles in ye fields to ye sd: parish of
St. Ann in ye Libty of Westmr: & deliver them to ye
Churchwardens & Overseers of ye poor there or to
some or one of them who are hereby required to
receive them into their Care & to Provide for them
according to Law. Given under our hands & Seals
ye. 21 Day of December Anno Dom 1716

To ye Churchwardens & Overseers of ye poor of ye.
respective parishes of St Giles in ye fields & St. Ann
in ye Libty of Westmr: in ye County of Midd and to
all other officers whom it may Concern
