Justices of the Peace thereof Saith That Andrew Hughes< no role > late
Father of William Hughes< no role > & John Hughes< no role > in the Order Annexed
Named, was this Deponts. Brother and was above Twenty yeares
agoe bound as an Apprentice to Richd. Cook< no role > then. of the City of
Hereford Sadler with whom he lived in the sd. City One Year
and Upwards That then Cook failing in his Trade the said
Andrew went and lived in or near the City of London as
a Covenant or Menial Servt. with Several & Sons of
Quality for Several yeares or pticularly with Sr. Thomas
Powys
< no role > Knt . and alsoe wth. the then Lord Mayor of London and the
Countess of Darby and others and Never had or Acquired any
Legall Settlement in the parish of St Laurence in Ludlow Since he
Went Apprentice to Hereford as aforesd. to this Deponts. Knowledge
or as he ever heard though this Depont lived in the sd. Parish
of St. Laurence Ludlow dureing the sd. whole time.
