Case

Concerning the Settlemt. of Eliza parente & her 3 Childrn. vizt. Edwd. Elizabeth
& Margt. past from the Responds. to the Appellts.

Itt appears on the Oaths of severall Wittnesses & Pticulerly
on the Oath's of the sd. Francis Parents & Eliza: his wife that
about 23. Yeares agoe they were marryed in the Chappell of
the Fleet prison & from yt. time lived together about 5 Year's
in wch. time they had 4 Children whereof two are dead & the
other two are provided for by Francis Parents their father.

That about 5 Yeares after such Marryags Francis
Parents went away from his sd. wife and afterwds. marryed to
Another Woman with whome he has lived in and about London ever since v never w [..] out of the Kingdom of England since his
Si [..] Marriage, & has hold [..] returned to his first wife Elizabeth
nor did they [..] see each other till this 12. Janry. 1716
as appears by their respective oaths.

That the sd. Elizabeth being informed her sd. husband was dead,
about 6 Year's after he had left her, marry's wth. one Richd. Doune
Who lived wth. the sd. Elizabeth as his wife in the parish of St.
Mary Over's in the County of Surry about 12 Yeares being to the
time of his death wch. happned about 9 Months since in
wch. time she had 8 Children by Doune who were all born & baptized
and Registeredin the sd. parish as the Children of Doune &
went by his Name.

That 5 of those eight Childrs. are dead and ye surviving
three Children are those past on the Appellts. as the place
of the Cast Settlemt. of Francis Parents.

This Court is of Opinion Yt the sd. Elilza: Parents the Mother & her sd. three Childrn: vizt
Edwd. Eliza: & Margt.(wch were begotten by Doune)are Settled in the parish of St. Bridgetts
London, the Settlemt. of ye sd, Fran. Parents the first husband being in that Parish
