Case

Concerning the Settlemt. of Elizabeth Parents and her three Children vizt. Edward
Elizabeth, and Margt. past from the Respondts. to the Appellants.

Itt appears on the oath of Severall Wittnesses and plumberly on the oath of the sd. Francis Parents
and Elizabeth his wife that about 23 Yeares agoe they were marryed in the Chappell of the
Fleet prison and from that time lived together about 5 Yeares in Which time they had
four children two whereof are dead and the other two provided for by Francis Parents

That about 5 Yeares after such marryage the sd. Francis Parents went away from
his sd. wife and marryed to another Woman and never returned to his first wife Elizabeth
againe nor did they ever see each other till this [..] twelfth day of January 1716 as
appeareth on their [..] oaths. and the sd. Elizabeth Parents being informed her said
husband was dead, in about Six Yeares after he had left her marryed with one Richd Donne< no role >
who lived with the sd. Eliza as his wife in the parish of St Mary Ever's in the County of Surey
for about 12 Yeares being till the time of his death which was about 9 Months June
us which time the had [..] 8 Children by Donne who were all born baptized and Registred
in the sd. parish as the Children of Doune and went by hi Name

That five of the sd. eight Children are dead and the Sueoring three Children
are those past on the Appell unto as the place of the last Settlement of Fran. Parents

This Cort is of Opinion and adjudge that the sd. Elizabeth Parents the Mother
and her sd. three Children vizt. Eawd. Eliza: & Margt. (which were begotten by Donne)
are legally settled in the parish of St. Bridgetts London, the Settlemt. of Francis
Parents the first husband being in the Parish.
