I have endeavoured to find out the prices wch. are laken by
Waggoners & Carriers for the carriage of goods to this
Towne, but have not obtained soe full an acct. thereof as
I was in hopes I should, The acct. wch. I have obtained
is as fol,

Wagon

Goods brot. by Waggon between 40 & 50 miles pay4s p C
3s.6d. p C in the Sumer time, & 4s p C in the Winter time,

60 miles 5s. p C both in Sumer & Winter time
70 miles the like prices

90 miles 1d. p pod. both intosumer & winter time

100 miles ¾ p pod. by some Waggoners p 1d. p pod. by others
in the Sumer time, & 1d. p pod. in the Winter time

150 miles 8s. p C, and when under C then 1d. p pod. both
in Sumer & Winter time
