Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of His
Maties Justices of the peace for ye. County of Midd (Quor
unus) by the Overseers of the poor of the Libty of the
Rolls in the sd. County That Elizabeth Lane< no role > widow
of Samuel Lane< no role > Deced wth samuel < no role > aged eleven
years & Thomas < no role > aged a year & an half Children of
the sd. Elizabeth Lane< no role > by her said late husband are
lately come into ye. said Libty endeavouring to
settle there contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto
us the said Justices that they are likely to become
chargeable to the said Libty And whereas upon
Exaiacon of the sd: Elizabeth Lane< no role > taken upon
Oath it farther appeareth unto us & wee do adjudge
that the parish of St: Mary Bothaw London is ye:
place of the last legall Settlemt. of the said Elizabeth
Lane
< no role > & the sd. two Children And do therefore in His
Maties name charge & coman'd ye. Overseers of ye. poor
of the sd. Libty of the Rolls forthwth: to remove &
convey the sd. Elizabeth Lane< no role > & her sd. two Children
from the sd. Libty of the Rolls to ye. sd: parish of
St. Mary Bothaw London & deliver them to the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor there or to
some or one of them who are hereby required to
receive them into their care & to provide for them
according to Law. Given under our Hands &
Seals ye. 23d day of February Anno Dom 1715

To ye. Overseers of ye. poor of ye Libty of ye. Rolls in
ye. County of Midd & to ye. Churchwardens &
Overseers of ye. poor of ye. parish of St. Mary
Bothaw London And to all other Officers whom
it may Concern
