Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of
his Maties Justices of ye peace for ye County of midd
(Quor unus) by ye Churchwardens & Overseers of ye
poor of ye parish of St: Giles in ye fields in ye said
County That Mary Allen< no role > Singlewoman is lately
come into ye said parish endeavouring to settle
there contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us ye
said Justices that she is likely to become chargeable
to ye said parish And whereas upon Exaiacon of ye sd.
Mary Allen< no role > taken upon Oath it farther appeareth
unto us & wee do adjudge that ye Hamlet of
Spittle fields in ye parish of Stebunheath als
Stepney in ye said County is ye place of ye last legall
Settlemt: of ye said Mary Allen< no role > And do therefore in
His Maties name charge & comand ye Churchwardens
& Overseers of ye poor of ye said parish of St. Giles in
ye fields forthwth: to remove & convey ye said Mary Allen< no role >
from ye said parish of St. Giles in ye fields to ye said
Hamlet of Spittle fields & deliver her to ye Church-
warden & Overseers of ye poor there or to come or
one of them who are hereby required to receive
her into their Care & to provide for her according to
Law. Given under our hands & Seals ye. 7th: day of
March Anno Dom 1715

To ye Churchwardens & Overseers of ye poor of
ye parish of St. Giles in ye. fields & ye Hamlet
of Spittle fields in ye parish of Stebunheath
als Stepney in ye County of Midd And to all
other Officer's whom it may Concern
