The humble petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St Swithin London
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Warrant or pass Order under the hands & Seals of two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx bearing date the
27th day of January Anno Din 1715

to the said
parish of St Swithin
in ye City of London
alleadging
the said parish to be the place of her last legall Settlement That your
Petrs doubt not but to prove that the said
Jane Smith< no role >
never had any legal
Settlement in the said parish of St Swithin
whereby they conceive them-
selves aggrieved by the said warrant and pass Order of the said two Justices
and do humbly Appeal to your Worpps therefrom
Your Petr therefore most humbly prays your
Worpps will be pleased to hear them in the Prmisses
And that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the said parish of St Giles in the Feilds
may Appear before you and hear and abide the
determination of your Worpps touching this
Appeal.
And your Petrs Shall ever Pray Etc
