as this Dept. verily
believes upon which examiancon the said Pass order was
founded went down on the Said Parishes busines to the
Genral Quarter Sessions held at
Rigate
for the County of Surry
on Munday Morning last and was not returned to his hous
in the sd Parish between nine & ten of the clock in the fore
Noon of this instant friday where this Dept. made inquiry
after him This Dept further saith that he dos not know
nor can be tell where to find the said John Cleavely< no role >
but
believes the sd Withers is will acquainted with him & has
made diligent inquiry after the sd Cleavely's Settlemt and
therefore will be a very material Witnes for the sd Parish of
St Margaret Westmr
could he be pduced & be prsent at the
hearing of this Appeal
