Upon rending of the appeale of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Whipsunde in the County of Bedford against an order under the hands and Seals of davis
Hechstoller and [..] Smiths an Esqrs two of her Majtyes Justices of the peace for the County of
Middx (Quor unus) bearing date the Nineteenth day of March last whereby John Robison< no role >
and Mary< no role > his wife and one Child names Esther< no role > were removed from the parish of Edmonton
in the Said County of Middx to the Said parish of Whsesuadt in the County of Bedford as
the place of their last legall Settlement It [..] was ordered by this Court that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Said parish of Edmunton Should have notice of the Said
appeale, and that they and all other Partyes Concerned Should attend this Court an this day
to heare and abide the Judgment and determinacon of this Court touching the Said appeale
Now upon mecon made unto this Court by Mr Malet of Councell for the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of Edmonton who alledged that they were not
prpared to Support and Maintaine the aforesaid order of removeall at this Prsent Sessions, and
therefore Prayed that the hearing of the Said appeale may be adjourned untill the next Generall
Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for the Said County of Middx It is by Consent of the
Said Mr Malet and alsoe of Mr Darnall of Councell for the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the Said pish of Whipsnade ordered by this Court that the hearing and determines
of the Said appeale be adjourned untill the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be
held for the Said County of Middx And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of both
the Said pish as attend her Majtyes Justices of the Peace at the next Generall Quarter Sessions
of the Peace to be held for the Said County of Middx by Adjournmt on tuesday the Third day
of July next at ten of the Clock in the forenoon to [..] and abide their Judgment and
determinacon touching the said appeals, And that the Churchwarden and oversees of
the Poor of the said Pish of Edmonton due forthwith pay unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor of the Said Parish of Whipsnade or to saunoram of them the sume of Forty
Shillings further costs of this days attend and Audit is further indired by this Court that is Case
the Said appeale be allowed by the Said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor [..]
Said Parish of Edmonton Shall pay unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish of Whipsnade or to Sume or one of them the costs of Maintaining the Said John Robison< no role >
Mary< no role > his wife and the Said Esther< no role > in the meentime, as her Majties Justices of the Peace for
the Said County of Middx Shall at the Said next Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace direct and
appoint.
