Whereas complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and seals are hereunto Sett Two of her Majties Justices of
the Peace of the County of Middlx ( Quor Unus) by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the parrish of St. John of Wapping
in the said County that Anne Hunt< no role > Singlewoman is lately
come into the said parrish of St John of Wappin endeavour [..]
to settle herself there without giving notice in writeing to [..]
Said Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor or [..] one of [..]
of the place of her abode in the said parrish, according to the Sta [..]
in that case made and provided, And that it also appeareth [..]
us the said Justices by the Complaint of the said Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said parrish of St Jno of Wappin
that The is likely to become a great charge to the said parrish
if not speedily prevented, And whereas it also appeareth unto
us the said Justices upon the Oath of the said Anne Hunt
that The was last legally settled in the Hamblet of Mile
End Old Towne in the said County of Middlx where the
lived the full spare of one whose Year as a hired Yearly
Servant with one Richard Cole< no role > a Victualler at the Signe of the
Words end in Mile Ends Old Towne aforesaid, And upon st [..]
Examination wee cannot find that The hath wee the said
legall Settlement else where Since Therefore wee the said
Justices doe adjudge the said Hamblet of Mile End Old Towne
to be the place of the last legall Settlement of the said
Anne Hunt and that The ought to be sent thither

These are therefore in her Majties. name straitly to
charge and command Yon and every of You forthwith upon
sight hereof to remove and convey the said Anne Hunt< no role > [..]
Said parrish of St John Wappin, to the said Hamblet of [..]
End Old Towne and deliver her unto the Churchwarden and
Overseer of the Poor there, who are hereby required to Pro [..]
for her according to Law, hereof faite not at Yor. Perilly Given
under our hands and Seals the £24 day of May 1711

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parrish of St. John of Wappin in the said County and to
all Constables Headbroughs and other Officers & Ministers
whom these may concerne, And also to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamblet of Mile End
Old Towne
