Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of Her Maties: Justices of the

for the County of Middlesex
(Quor unus) by the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St Giles in the Feilds in the County aforesaid That

a Young Insant daughter
of the Said Daniell & Elizabeth
endowouring to Settle her Selfe and child there contrary to Law And it
appearing unto us the Said Justices that the Said Elizabeth Horton & child
are likely to become chargable to the Said parish. And whereas upon
examination of the Said Elizabeth Horton taken upon Oath it farther
appeareth unto us that

gone & left her & it doth not appear where he was last legally
Settled And Forasmuch as it appeareth unto us that the said
Elizabeth

was born in the parish of Alhallowes
the great in the City of
London
We the Said Justices do adjudge the said Elizabeth Horton
to be legally Settled at the Said parish of Alhallowes the great and
do therefore in Her Maties: name charge & command the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the poor of the parish of st Giles in the Feilds forthwith
to remove & convey the said Elizabeth Horton & Susanna her child
from the Said parish of St Giles in the Feilds
to the Said parish of
Alhallowes the great and deliver them to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor there or to Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive them into their care & to provide for
them according to Law Given under Our Hands & Seald the 18th day
of Aprill Anno Din 1711
To the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of

Middlesex And to the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the parish of Alhallowes the great in
