Whereas it appears unto Us her Majtyes
Justices of the Peace for the Sd City and Libty. ye of
Westmr: (Quor Unus) by the Complaynt of the Church:
:wardens and Overseers: of the poor of the parish of
Ann in the Sd Librtye of Westmr: in the County of Middx
That Elizabeth Pope< no role > is lately intraded and come
into the Sd Parish of St: Ann endeaveuring to setle
her Self there contrary to Law and whereas it appears
unto Us the sd Justices that the Sd Elizabeth pope hath
been chargable to the Sd Parish of st: Ann and it
further appears unto Us the Sd Justices by the Examinacon
of the Sd Eliz: Pope (upon her Oath) that She is the
wife of one Abraham Pope< no role > , deceased whose last
legall settlement was in the Parish of St: Gyles in the
Fields in the Sd County of Middx , Renting a House in
white Lyon street of Twenty Two pounds P Ann
aboute Sixteen Years [..] and hath not attamed
any legall setlement Since. wherefore we the Sd
Justices do adjudg. the Legall Setlement of the Sd Elizabh:
Pope< no role > to be in the Sd Parish of St. Gyles in the Fields .

These are therefore in her Majtyes Name to Charge
and Comand You upon Sight hereof Safely and
imediately to remove and convey the Sd Elizabeth.
Pope from the Sd Parish of st: Ann unto the Sd Parish
of st: Gyles in the Fields in the Sd County of Middx
and deliver her to the Church: wardens and Overseers
of the Poor [..] there who are hereby Required
to provide for them according to Law given Under our
hands and Seals this 23d day of April 1711
