This Informant deposeth, that on this present twenty first Day of
Decemr. about five a clock in the evening this Depont. was desired by
John Hickson< no role > one of the Headbourghs of the Parish of Ealing , to go afer
a person describ'd to the said John Hickson< no role > , to have committed a robbery,
[..] before, upon the Queens highway, upon which this Depont borrow'd
[..] ell of the saidperson, Jon. Hickson< no role > & went together with an Thomas Samms< no role > in
pursuit of the said described person, & upon meeting a person thus
described, they suspected him to be the Person, upon which the said Heads
bourgh desird the said suspected person to surrender himselfe, which he
Willingly at first did, but after some time the said suspected person came
[..] up to this Depont. who was then a guard upon him & suddenly laying his hand upon this Deponents hands
[..] which he had the said pistoll, he ptelld this Depont. of the horse,
[..] he was then upon, & endeavourd to make his escape, upon which, this
[..] ponr. pursu'd him, & caught hold of his coat, & in a further scuffle,
[..] y being down together, the said Headbourgh came up to his assistance,
[..] by stricking the said suspected person, he made him surrender himselfe
[..] cond time.

[..] An abovementiond suspected person own'd himselfe afterwards
[..] to be [..] Nathanil Shrimpton< no role > .

This Depont. further deposeth that the said Nathaniel Shrimpton< no role > ownd,
[..] kat he came from London with but six pence in his pockett, but upon
[..] earch there was found seven shillings in mony numbred, which the
[..] said Nathaniel Shrimpton< no role > confestsaidhe borrowd just before, of a person in
[..] road, unknown to him, with some other particular pieces.
