told this Depont: that She had Lived as A Nurssery Maid wth: one
Mr: Johnson in Bartlett Buildgings five years and that ye: said
Mr: Johnson did then want a Servant to be Middle Maid and yt:

Katherine France had stay'd there about half an hour She went
away and in half a quarter of an Hour Came againe and then
told this Depont: that She had dropt her handkercheife by the
fire Side but not finding it She went away And about two hours
after A Silver Salt a Linen apron & a peice of Linen Cloth was
Missing wch: ye: said Katherine France< no role > als Kirby was Suspected
to have Stolen And a Warrant having been obtained to apprehend
her She was found at her Lodging in Leather Lane in ye sd parish
of St: Andrew Holborn and being apprehended and then asked
what Induced her to Committ ye: sd Robbery She answered if
She did do it, It was for her Child sake but Rather then She would
goe before a Justice She would make them any Satisfaction
