This Examinant saith, this present day, he came our of London
, wth: a
designe so go down to some relations, at Agmondesham
in the County of Bucks
with designe to borrow some mony, he having latety yent what he had
by him, & left London aforesaid with four shillings in his pockett, & that
in a part of the road, a litle westward of Ealing
, he mett a person unknown about him,
to thisDepExamint, & asked the said person what mony he hadupon
where,& sold the said person that he wanted mony, & would desire him
to lend him some, & that the said person upon this Examinant demand,
himdeliverd him some mony, he thinks, about the summ of three shillings
& six pence, & that the said Examinant promis'd the said person so
repay him the said mony, the said person saying his name was Griffin
or Griffith, & that he lived at Agmondesham
in the Countye of
Bucks aforesaid. & further this Examinant saith not.
