Information upon oath of John Hickson< no role > , one of the
Headbourghs of the Parish Ealing , taken this twenty first
day of Decemr. Anno Dom. 1709 .

This Informant deposeth, that in the evening of this instant twenty
[..] first day of Decemr. about five a clock one Griffin, known to this
[..] Depont. for some time, came to this Depont. & told him that sun now
[..] h mett a person in the Queens hing way, which croft his horses
[..] ead, & sold him he wanted some mony, having but litle in his pockett,
[..] would return or him again, upon which he told this Depont, that
[..] he had taken from him under twenty shillings, & that the said person
[..] was gonn towards Acton, over the Feilds, upon which he took one

[..] said Griffin, upon Ealing Common walking in the foor way of
[..] the said Common, & then this Depont. desir'd the said describd person
[..] surrender himselfe, upon suspition of a robbery, which the said
[..] suspected person did, or first, quickly, then waiting his oppertunity, he
[..] assaulted the said William Johnson< no role > This name instance is in set 4690. , that was guard upon him, by coming
[..] the said William Johnson< no role > This name instance is in set 4690. , with a designe to make his escape, & then
[..] Depont. came up to the said suspected person, & caused him again to
[..] ender himselfe, & then this Depont. bound him to secure him.
