The Examination of Charles Lacy< no role > of the Parish of
St Anns Westmr in ye County of Middx Cordwinder taken
upon Oath before Mc Robert Perryman once of her
Majties: Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx and
Liberty of Westmr Aforsd. on Thursday the 24o. day of Novr.
1709 .

This Examt. Saith that on Thursday the 24o. day of Novr: 1709 this
Examt. hearing A Little Girl Daughter of Robert Herring< no role > of St. Anns
Cordwinder . an infant of Eight years of Ago, Cry oat that she was
Robd. went to the Child and Asked her what was the Matter when
upon the Child told this Examt. that A woman Came into her Mothers
shop and tooke some Linnen away. whereupon this Examt. being
directed by the Child. followed the sd. Woman whom he overtooke
at the Upper end of Eart: Court Apprehended her and Carried her
togather wth. the sd. Linnen then in the sd felons Apron to A Constable
house in Riders Court. where the sd. Linnen was taken out of the sd.
Felons Apron and Afterward owned by the sd Robert Herring< no role > s
wife to be her sd. Husbands Goods and further saith Not
