Upon reading of the appeale of the Churchwardens and [..]
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Margaret Westmr .
exhibited unto this Court against an Order under the hands
& seales of German Ireton< no role > & John Metcalfe< no role > Esqrs . two of
her Maties. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
(Quor unus) beareing date the second day of February last
whereby John Gowen< no role > with Mary< no role > his wife & their
three children (vizt.) John Gowen< no role > of the age of about nine
yeares Susannah Gowen< no role > of the age of about three yeares
& Samuel Gowen< no role > of the age of about one yeare who were
become chargeable to the parish of St. Andrew Holborne
in the sd County were removed from the sd. parish of St.
Andrew Holborne to the sd parish of St.Andrew Holborne
Margaret Westmr . as the place of the last legall settlement
of the sd John Gowen the elder< no role > , It was Ordered by this
Court that the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of
the sd. parish of St. Andrew Holborne & all other parties
concerned should attend this Court on this day to heare
abide the Judgmt. & determinacon of this Court touching the
sd. appeale, Now forasmuch as it appeares to this Court that
