Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of her
Maties, Justices of the Peace for the County of Midlx (Quorum
unus) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore of the parish
of St. Andrew Holborne in the Said County that John Gowen< no role > with
Mary< no role > his Wife and their three Children (Viz) John Gowen< no role > of the
Age of about Nine yeares Susanna Gowen< no role > of the Age of about
three yeares & Samuell Gowen< no role > of the Age of about One yeare
are Latch come into the Said parish endeavouring to [..]
there contrary to Law And it appearing to us the Said Justices
that the Said John Gowen< no role > together with his Said Wife and Children
are become chargeable to the Said parish And Whereas upon
Examinacon of the Said John Gowen< no role > the elder taken upon Oath is farther
appeareth unto us that about five and twenty yeares Since the Said
John Gowen< no role > became a householder in Stevens Ally within the parish
of St. Margarett Westmr . as the yearly Rent of Eleven pounds
where he Soe continued above fifteen yeares And that Since he
came from and out of the Said parish of St Margarett Westmr he
hath not been Settled else where Wee the Said Justices doe adjudge the
Said parish of St. Margarett Westmr . to be the place of the last legall
Settlement of the Said John Gowen < no role > the elder And doe therefore in
her Maties, Name charge and Comand the Churchwardens and Over-
-seers of the poore of the Said parish of St. Andrew Holborne forthwith
to remove & comes the Said John Gowen< no role > with his Said Wife & three
Children from the Said parish of St. Andrew Holborne to the Said
parish of St. Margarett Westmr . and deliver them to the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the poore there or to Some or end of them who are [..]
required to receive them into their care and provide for them according to
Law Given undr. our hands and Seales this 2d. day of February

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore of
the parish of St. Andrew Holborne in the County of
Midlx and to the Churchwardens and overseers of the
poore of the parish of St. Margt. Westmr and to ever
of them
