Upon hearing of the appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in this
County against an Order under the hands & seales of Nathaniel
Manlove
< no role > & Alexander Pitfeild< no role > Esqrs. two of her Maties. Justices of
the peace for this County (Quop vuns) bearing date the
eighteenth day of December last whereby Thomizen
Frederick
< no role > (a child about four yeares old late daughter of
Cressgion Frederick< no role > & Rachel < no role > his wife both lately deced) who
was become chargeable to the parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch
in this County was removed from the sd. parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch to the sd. parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in
this County upon pretence that the sd. Thomizen Frederick
was borne in the dwelling house of Ann Kinge< no role > in Gravell
lane in the sd. parish of st. Botolph without Aldgate in this
County Singlewoman and that the sd. Cressgion Frederick
& his sd. Wife Rachel then lived there, and that the sd. parish
of St. Botolph without Aldgate in this County was the place
of the legall settlemt. of the sd. Thomizen Frederick by reason
of her being borne there, And upon hearing of what was
insisted on by Councell for the sd. parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch & alsoe by the sd. Appellants Forasmuch as it
appeareth to this Court that the dwelling house of the sd. Ann
Ringe in Gravell lane menconed in the sd Order of removeall
to be the place of the birth of the sd. Thomizen Frederick is
in that part of the parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate
which lyes in London This Court doth therefore allow of the
said appeale and doth vacate & discharge the sd. Order
of the said two Justices of the peace, And doth further Order
that the Overseers of the poor of the sd. parish ofthe said
