Whereas Complaint hath been made Unto Us two of her Maties,
Justices of the Peace for the County of Midlx (Quorum Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Andrew
Holborne in the Said County that Mary Durdant< no role > wife of William
Durdant
< no role > (who is gone into her Maties, Service) is lately come into the
Said parish with her three Children (viz) George Durdant< no role > aged about
Eight Yeares Julian Durdant< no role > Aged about Seven Years' and Mary Durdant< no role >
aged about Six Weeks end [..] using to Settle themselves there contron
to Law and its appearing to Us the Said Justices that the Said Mary Durdant
and her three Children are become chargeable to the Said parish And Whereas
Upon Examinacon of the Said Mary Durdant taken Upon Bath its farther
appears to Us that about Eight years Since William Durdant her Said
husband and father of the Said Children was a house and Land holder
at the yearly Rent of tenn pounds at Chobham in the County of Surry
and paid all parochiall Taxes and that Since he came from and out of the
Said parish of Chobham he hath not been Setled olse where Wee the Said
Justices doe adjudge the Said parish of Chobham to be the place of the last
legall settlement of the Said William Durdant And doe therefore in
her Maties, name charge and Comand the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poore of the Said parish of St. Andrew Holborne forthwith to
remove & convey the Said Mary Durdant with her three Children
aforesaid from the Said parish of St. Andrew holborne to the Said parish of
Chobham in the County of Surry and deliver them to the Churchwrd, and Overseers
of the poore there or to Some or one of them who are hereby required to receive
them into their care and provide for them according to Law Given Undr. om
hands & Seales this 28d day of October Aholm 1708

parish of St. Andrew holborne in the County of Midlx
And to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poore
of the parish of Chobham in the County of Surry and to
every of them
